During an official visit to Singapore, Vietnamese leader Trần Cẩm Tú engaged in discussions with Singaporean President Tharman Shanmugaratnam to bolster their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The meeting underscored the robust development in economic, trade, and investment relations between the two countries, with a particular focus on sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, finance, and high technology.

The leaders expressed a mutual interest in broadening collaboration in burgeoning fields like artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and semiconductors. They also identified opportunities in data centres, clean energy, green finance, and human resource development, aiming to keep pace with global technological advancements and environmental priorities.

Both nations reiterated the significance of maintaining frequent high-level exchanges and enhancing cooperation among government entities, businesses, and local authorities. This approach is seen as vital to unlocking new opportunities for sustainable economic growth and fostering a resilient bilateral relationship.

In addition to bilateral cooperation, Vietnam and Singapore committed to reinforcing their coordination within the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and other multilateral platforms.
