He stressed the importance of protecting civilians and adhering to international humanitarian law during conflicts to ensure global stability and peace.
On the topic of technology, the Vietnamese leader pointed out the pivotal role of artificial intelligence and digital transformation in bridging development gaps. To Lam called for an inclusive approach to technology governance, urging greater participation from developing countries in the international rule-making process to prevent the further widening of global divides.
Reaffirming Vietnam’s commitment to peaceful dispute resolution, To Lam expressed support for the principles of international law and multilateralism. He reiterated the nation’s dedication to ASEAN cooperation and its evolving involvement in UN peacekeeping efforts, highlighting Vietnam’s active role in fostering regional stability and global peace.
