Bhumjaithai Party (BJT) leader and Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said his party is aiming to emerge as the leading force in the upcoming general election, expressing confidence that it can secure the highest number of seats or dominate its political bloc.

Anutin said finishing first is crucial, noting that parties which fall behind are quickly sidelined. He added that BJT does not consider the People’s Party (PP) an opposing camp and has left the door open for cooperation despite political differences.

Avoiding specific seat forecasts, Anutin said the party’s chances of winning more than 100 seats are stronger than the likelihood of falling below that level. He said BJT is fully prepared for the election, citing policy development, candidate readiness, and nationwide organisational strength.

He acknowledged that the party faces difficulties in urban constituencies but said it has adapted its strategy based on past results. Anutin praised the role of younger politicians in parliament, saying a new generation has proven its ability to lead and influence policy.

According to Anutin, the party now has capable candidates across age groups, allowing it to craft policies that appeal to voters from different generations. He added that BJT has prepared for multiple coalition outcomes to ensure political stability after the vote.
